Jalan Kepong is the main road that connects the town of Kepong with other major areas of Kuala Lumpur. It is a narrow road that provides access to those travelling from places like Segambut and Jinjang to the commercial centres here while those coming in from Damansara and Sungai Buloh will use this access road as well.
Jalan Kepong is connected by 2 other main roads which are Jalan Kuching and the Selayang-Kepong Highway. It starts from the east which comes from Jalan Ipoh, connected to places like Chow Kit and the Sentul areas. Heading west, Jalan Kepong passes by Jinjang where it will come to a Jalan Kepong Baru interchange before continuing on until the Selayang-Kepong Highway.
There are many areas within Jalan Kepong which is known for its commercial centres. One would find that it is quite common for slow traffic along this road and more evidently along places where there are shops and eateries. One of the main stretches with slow traffic is the one in front of the AEON Jusco shopping center. This is mainly because there are many vehicles which are making turns in and out of this shopping center.
On top of that, there are many banks and eateries operating around the vicinity which makes traffic a lot more congested. Along this short stretch, there are about 40 lamp posts being enacted used for pedestrian and street lighting. With the slow traffic and the people going around on foot, this Jalan Kepong road would be one of the ideal choices for advertising to this target group.
