Jalan Yap Kwan Seng forms one of the important cross-roads in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
It is located around the Bukit Bintang areas where it is home to the Mauritius High Commission and the Ambank headquarters.

That which makes Jalan Yap Kwan Seng so important is because it connects 2 of the very prominent roads within Kuala Lumpur.

As compared to other main roads in the city, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng is among the shortest.

However, despite the short in length, it is always congested with traffic as there are residences here as well as many commercial offices. Jalan Yap Kwan Seng is constantly under upgrading exercises as it provides access to hundreds of vehicles on an hourly basis.

The two-way traffic road is located at the northern part of the KLCC square which forms the cross-junction with Jalan Ampang and Jalan P Ramlee.

From one end, it connects vehicles coming in from Jalan Ampang and the KLCC areas while on the other end, it allow access for vehicles heading towards Jalan Tun Razak which will lead to places like Jalan Pahang and towards the south like Cheras and Chan Sow Lin.

There are about 15 lamp posts located on both sides of Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

This road is a popular walking street as parking is scarce and people would park further while walking in.On top of that, the traffic is very slow here due to the traffic lights, making this stretch an attractive advertising option for digital panels.
