Nora binti Mohd Danish Hanif or Nora Danish was born in Terengganu. She has been in the show business for more than 15 years now having started out in the industry in 2004. Married to Nedim Nazri, she came into the limelight when she starred in the comedy series Puteri, where she played the title role. Born in 1982, she is the oldest among 4 siblings.
Early beginnings in entertainment
Most people who remembered the Gadis Misteri Hotlink in 2004 would have seen Nora in the ad. That catapulted her to fame and she followed up her success with Puteri by Aziz M Osman, regarded as one of the top directors around. She would then work with him again in the film Gila-Gila Pengantin where Nora acted alongside several big names like Erra Fazira andAfdlin Shauki. She then joined the Scenario group where she took on a role inthe film Scenario Dalam Pemburu Emas.
Moving up into bigger roles
From there, Nora never looked back. She would continue to be involved in several television productions in the country. She starred in Pendekar 5 which was aired on TV9, the series Gadis Cuci and in Sumpah Bunian. After 2011, she went on to star in Khurafat The Series together with Zahiril Adzim and Aku Terima Nikahnya, among others. She also got into singing at one point when she sang ‘Ini Lagi Boom’ with W.A.R.I.S. As an entertainer, Nora has since been nominated and won many awards. Her recent success include winning the Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian for Artis Komedi Popular in 2017 and Artis Lawak Meletop in 2018 at the Anugerah MeleTOP Era.
She was also involved in print advertising where she has appeared in magazines such as URTV, Media Hiburan, Remaja as well as in newspapers like Berita Harian. Nora is definitely no stranger on social networks.With more than 7.3 million followers on he Instagram, she is among the most sought-after face and personalities for brands.
