The ELITE or Express Lingkaran Tengah is known as the North-South Expressway Central Link or NSECL. It is a 60-kilometer highway which is used by more than 4.1 million vehicles to bypass the traffic congestion of the city center by traveling on the outer boundaries of Kuala Lumpur especially if they are commuting from the north to the south and vice-versa.

Traffic from KLIA1, KLIA2 Airports and Sepang

Lebuhraya Utara Selatan Hubungan Tengah (ELITE) is a critical link for the NSE providing northbound and southbound travelers with an uninterrupted journey bypassing the city congestion in Kuala Lumpur. Elite expressway connects the NKVE (at Shah Alam) to the NSE (at Nilai North Interchange) and a popular route for travelers heading to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), KLIA2, Sepang F1 Circuit, Bandar Enstek, Dengkil and Sepang.

The KLIA Interchange is the Highway connecting to the KLIA/KLIA2 and it is known as KLIA Expressway. One of the busiest highway used by thousands of travelers for an uninterrupted journey to and from Malaysia’s International Airports.

The total length of this route is 11 Kilometer and it is six – lane carriageway with maximum speed limit of 110 km/h. It becomes a main route to Sepang F1 Circuit from Kuala Lumpur every year during Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix.

Route

ELITE highway starts from the north in Subang Jaya where it passes by major townships like Petaling Jaya and Puchong. Along the way, there are interchanges that connect vehicles towards these townships including Klang before reaching Cyberjaya in the southern end of this highway that goes into Dengkil and Sepang.

Demographics

The main group of vehicles travelling along ELITE are mainly residents and working adults along the townships who are travelling to the city centre or beyond for work each day.

Besides that, ELITE is used by vehicles travelling to KLIA and klia2.The ELITE Highway, also known as the North-South Expressway Central Link is an interstate highway that connects the city of Shah Alam in Selangor to the southern region.

Alternative bypass for Kuala Lumpur

One of the main purpose of the ELITE Highway was to serve as an alternative route for vehicles traveling south from the city centre.

It provides the access for vehicles to get from those surrounding Shah Alam to head all the way to Nilai.

This means that vehicles no longer need to get through the Federal Highway to reach the Seremban North-South Expressway but instead has a faster and more efficient road.

Advertising options for brand owners

Among all the many highways operating around the Klang Valley, the ELITE Highway is among the least congested except for certain checkpoints like the Shah Alam exit. This means that vehicle travel at a faster speed in most stretches.

With a lot of empty spaces between the sides, large format billboards can be seen along the way. Besides that, advertising boards can be seen on the dividers of the highway as well, especially in stretches that are leading up to the toll plazas.
