Jalan Sungai Besi is a main road located around the southern part of Kuala Lumpur.
This stretch is a road that connects motorists and vehicles coming in from the southern regions of Cheras and Seremban into the city center.

Through Jalan Sungai Besi, vehicles can head out towards places like Pudu and Loke Yew while heading towards Bukit Bintang and using Jalan Tun Razak go to other parts of the city like Setapak and into Jalan Duta.

As a main road, Jalan Sungai Besi provides vehicle the access through Jalan Loke Yew that goes into the city and into Bandar Tun Razak and Chan Sow Lin.Important landmarks here include Wisma Mah Sing as well as the recently launched Southgate Commercial Center.

Available Advertising Medium

Along Jalan Sungai Besi, there are lampposts located on both sides as well as on the center divider which can be very effective advertising space targeted at the high traffic flow here.

There are billboards located at the roundabout leading towards Jalan Loke Yew while the overhead bridge and the Jalan Loke Yew flyover have smaller spaces for ads as well.

Buying power

The heavy traffic flow along Jalan Sungai Besi is the instrumental factor that drives the high demand and buying power for ad spaces in the media available along this stretch which are very suitable for premium brand owners.

Landmarks and Traffic Conditions

The traffic flow here are among the highest in the surrounding areas where there are vehicles flowing in 2 directions coming into the city and out as well. The rush hours in the morning and evenings are when the traffic flows are at the highest while this stretch is known to have slow moving traffic at other times as well.

Along Jalan Sungai Besi, you will come across landmarks like the Mah Sing Group building, one of the top property developers in Malaysia today.

Further in front is the old Federal Bakery building which is located not far from the Pudu English Girls School, one of the oldest schools in the country.

Jalan Sungai Besi experiences super peak traffic flow mostly during the rush hours while at other times in between, the traffic condition here is at its peak. During weekends, it can be moderate to super peak because the road is quite narrow and as such, has limited access for heavy flow of vehicles. From the Seremban highway, Jalan Sungai Besi starts with peak traffic flow before it becomes moderate around the former Sungai Besi airport.

After that, as the road reaches the Chan Sow Lin area, it peaks again before experiencing heavy congestion at the F&N-Pudu-Cheras roundabout. It must be noted that just before Jalan Sungai Besi convenes with Jalan Tun Razak, vehicles will start experiencing super peak flow where it can sometimes come to a complete standstill especially around the Pudu English school area.
