One of the longest roads in Kuala Lumpur is Jalan Tun Abdul Razak. Besides its length, Jalna Tun Razak would perhaps be one of the most important roads here because it connects the people of Klang Valley from almost every corner.
Longest and most prominent main road in KLJalan Tun Razak starts around Bukit Bintang and it continues on until the Putra World Trade Centre area. Along this road, it provides slip roads that lead to a lot of major suburbs. The most important turn here would most likely be the KLCC interchange where it connects with Jalan Ampang and leads into the city centre. Not far from here, Jalan Tun Razak is connected with Jalan Bukit Bintang which leads to areas like Jalan Sultan Ismail and the shopping district of Kuala Lumpur. That which makes Jalan Tun Razak such an important access road is that it is toll-free and used by thousands of vehicles every day.Because of this, it is very normal to notice slow moving traffic throughout the day. The morning and evening rush hours are when traffic is at the heaviest. That is when traffic here is bumper-to-bumper with no signs of subsiding. However, at other times, traffic flow can be quite heavy as well and this occurs even during the weekends. There are not many locations where billboards can be enacted as a large part of Jalan Tun Razak is elevated. As such, you will notice a lot of tall unipole billboards along the main road which can be seen as you are travelling along.
