IDOOH Bukit Bintang Billboard is affordable, Own a Billboard for Ten Minutes

Digital screens can be sold by the loop rather than the month. That opens billboard advertising to birthdays, fan projects and personal milestones at a fraction of a commercial rate.

What You Are Actually Booking

Digital billboards run a rotating loop of ten slots, each fifteen seconds long. A short-term booking places your message into that rotation for a defined window instead of a full campaign flight.

The Ten-Minute Takeover

Ten minutes covers four complete loops on a standard 150-second rotation. Booked as a takeover, your message occupies every slot in those loops rather than one in ten.

The Full-Day Booking

A single day places your message in the standard rotation across the entire operating window, typically eighteen hours. That works out to roughly 400 plays from first light to closing.

  • Ten-minute slot — concentrated impact at a chosen time, ideal for a surprise moment
  • Full day — sustained visibility, better for fan projects and public celebrations
  • Both options include the same screen, resolution and traffic exposure as commercial buys
  • Timing can be selected around a specific hour where the screen allows it

Who Books This Kind of Airtime

Short-form billboard airtime has grown well beyond advertising. Most bookings now come from individuals and groups marking something personal in a very public way.

  • Birthday messages for family, partners and close friends
  • Fan club congratulatory ads for artists, idols and debut anniversaries
  • Graduation announcements and academic achievements
  • Wedding proposals and anniversary tributes
  • Business milestones, product launches and staff recognition
  • Sports team congratulations after a win or a tournament finish

How to Book

Two routes are available. The online form suits standard slots with artwork already prepared, while WhatsApp works better for timing questions or when you need help with the design.

Booking Online

Select your screen, choose the date and duration, upload your artwork and confirm. You receive a booking reference and the artwork moves straight into the approval queue.

Booking via WhatsApp

Message directly for availability, pricing on specific time windows or help preparing the file. Useful when the moment is time-sensitive and you need to confirm a slot quickly.

What to Prepare Before You Book

Artwork requirements are the same as any commercial booking. Each screen has its own pixel dimensions, so a single file will not fit every site in the network.

  • Accepted formats are MPEG 4, AVI, JPEG and PNG
  • Build to the exact resolution of your chosen screen, not a resized version
  • Keep the message to a name, a short greeting and one image
  • Get permission before using a photograph of another person
  • Bahasa Malaysia must be the dominant language on the artwork

Lead Time Is the One Thing to Plan Around

Content still requires DBP and council approval, which takes seven to ten working days. A birthday booking made the day before cannot be approved in time.

Book Two to Three Weeks Ahead

Submit artwork at least two weeks before the date. That leaves room for approval, a revision if the copy needs adjusting, and confirmation of your upload slot.

Content Rules Apply to Personal Messages Too

No alcohol or gambling references, no political content and nothing that could be read as defamatory. Personal messages are held to the same standard as commercial creative.

Once your slot runs, you receive photographs and video of the message live on screen — the same completion record issued to commercial advertisers.
